ToggleIntroduction
- Lahori is a cool new brand created by Saurabh Munjal, Saurabh Bhutna and Nikhil Doda.
- They noticed that there were only a couple of big companies making traditional Indian drinks, so they decided to start their own business in Punjab.
- They named their brand Lahori because it uses rock salt, which is called “Lahori” in Hindi, in most of their drinks.
Story
- The story starts at Nikhil’s house. One day, both cousins, Saurabh Munjal and Saurabh Bhutna, came over and asked for something to eat and drink.
- Nikhil gave them a homemade cumin drink. They loved it so much and praised the drink.
- Saurabh Munjal realised that this drink could become a brand. The other two cousins agreed, and that’s how Lahori was born!
- Nikhil Doda says that this business mostly depends on the distribution network.
- At the beginning, they had no money to give products on credit and no money for advertisements.
- So, they went straight to the retailers in Sector 47, Chandigarh, and let them try the drinks.
- The feedback was awesome, and all three of them became confident in their hero product.
- Lahori has done an amazing job connecting with people in India. Their drinks are more than just something to sip – they have become a symbol of choice, happiness, and togetherness.
- Now, if we talk about money, their product cost was just ₹10, and the company’s value is around ₹600 crore.
- Lahori is a manufacturer of non alcoholic beverages which is available in 4 delightful ready-to-drink variants.
